This spectacular mountain lake is located near Plužine, on the very border of Durmitor National Park, and is known for its unreal water color and impressive mountain landscapes.

Our excursion combines a cruise on Lake Piva, swimming in crystal clear water and an authentic homemade lunch in a unique setting that can only be reached by boat.

Departure from the camp and arrival at Piva Lake

The tour begins at the Rafting Grand Tara camp, from where we organize transportation to the town of Plužine, located on the shores of Lake Piva.

Upon arrival, we board a boat and begin a leisurely cruise on Lake Piva, during which you can enjoy spectacular views of high mountain cliffs, hidden coves, and the incredible color of the water for which this lake is famous.

Cruising and swimming on Lake Piva

During the boat ride we pass through some of the most beautiful parts of the lake. The water of Lake Piva is exceptionally clean and pleasantly warm for swimming during the summer, which is why many visitors say that swimming on Lake Piva is even more beautiful than at sea.

Our destination is a small hidden campsite on the shore of a lake, accessible only by water. It is this isolation that gives this place its special charm.

The camp also has a floating pier, an ideal place for swimming, sunbathing and completely enjoying the silence of nature.

Homemade lunch on the lake shore

After swimming and resting, lunch is prepared in the authentic ambiance of the camp.

A special emphasis of this excursion is on local food and homemade products. Guests have the opportunity to try:

• fresh trout from Lake Piva
• homemade cheeses from this region
• traditional barbecue prepared on site
